A method for gynogenesis of Nile tilapia and Siniperca chuatsi by Zhujiang Institute has been authorized by the national invention patent

Recently, "a method for gynogenesis development of Nile tilapia and mandarin fish" invented by Cao jianmeng, Lu Maixin and Li Yang of the breeding and Nutrition Research Office of the Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute has been authorized by the national invention patent, patent No.: ZL 201811037927.7.

The patent of the invention provides a breeding method for constructing a pure line of Nile tilapia. The method is of great significance for breeding excellent lines with large individual, rapid growth and strong disease resistance in the pure line, as well as gender control and genetic research.
