The "research and application of key technologies for breeding important freshwater ornamental fish" led by associate researcher Mou Xidong won the first prize of Lin Haoran animal science and technology award. Aiming at the lack of independent intellectual property rights and backward breeding technology of important freshwater ornamental fish in China's market, the project systematically studied and solved the key problems of industrial technology system of many important freshwater ornamental fish in China, such as introduction and domestication, artificial breeding, seedling cultivation, healthy breeding, water quality regulation and breeding mode, including the construction of China's ornamental fish germplasm resource bank, The breeding technology of 10 representative species of three categories of ornamental fish has been conquered, and the breeding technology of representative species has been established. It has successively established breeding and breeding demonstration bases in Guangdong, Hainan, Tianjin and other places, effectively expanding the development space of ornamental fish breeding industry.
