The achievement jointly completed by Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Nanjing Agricultural University, Zhejiang Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute and Guangzhou Pulin Biological Products Co., Ltd. "key technology and industrial application of immune prevention and control of Aeromonas hydrophila septicemia in freshwater fish" won the second prize of Fan Li science and technology progress award of the Fifth China Fisheries Society.
The results established a variety of pathogen detection methods, analyzed the pathogenic mechanism and identified new virulence related factors, constructed subunit vaccine, molecular typing inactivated vaccine and dual inactivated vaccine for bacterial septicemia that harm a variety of freshwater fish. The inactivated vaccine of Aeromonas hydrophila septicemia has obtained the national first class new veterinary drug certificate and production approval number, and has been widely applied in Guangdong, Jiangxi, Shandong and other provinces, with a total breeding area of more than 350000 mu. The social and economic benefits and environmental ecological benefits are significant, which play a great role in promoting the green development of Fisheries and energy conservation and emission reduction.
This achievement has established one national standard, obtained six national invention patents, one national class I new veterinary drug certificate, one product approval number and one clinical trial approval document.
