The "Creation, Application and Promotion of New Varieties of Channa argus" completed by Chen Kunci's research team aimed at the industrial problems that growth, fitness and male female differences affect production efficiency. The breeding of Channa argus and Channa argus was carried out, and the hybrid breeding of Channa argus increased the growth rate by 20.1%, had strong cold resistance and disease resistance, and fed with mixed feed (GS-02-002-2014); Breaking through the gender control technology, we created a new breed of super male Channa argus by using molecular identification and reproductive endocrine regulation, and bred a hybrid Channa argus "male No. 1" (GS-02-003-2022) with a male rate of more than 93%, a growth rate of 26.2%, a feed input reduction of 8-20%, and a benefit increase of more than 40%. Establish efficient breeding and healthy breeding technology, increase fertilization, hatching and seedling cultivation by 36%, 28% and 30% respectively, establish three breeding bases, and support the characteristic industry of raw fish in Sanjiao Town and the provincial modern agricultural industrial park of raw fish. During 2017-2021, 15.56 billion fry and 2.17 billion fish species were produced, with an output value of 1.637 billion yuan, 326000 mu of breeding was promoted, and the new output value was 14.549 billion yuan.

By deeply analyzing the genome of Trionyx sinensis, we screened a number of molecular markers that were significantly associated with economic traits such as growth, sex, stress resistance, etc; 4. Invent the media free incubation mode and optimize the production process; 5. Build an efficient and healthy breeding technology model to effectively promote good varieties and methods. In the past five years, 38600 mu has been promoted accumulatively, with an increased output value of more than 1 billion yuan. The economic and social benefits are significant, which has made important contributions to the development of the aquaculture seed industry and rural revitalization.
