The fishery resources ecology research office of Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute used ultrasonic telemetry tracking technology to mark 9 sexually mature carp in the Zhaoqing river section of the Pearl River from March to June 2017. The ultrasonic receiver matrix was set up. The habitat loyalty, habitat utilization and migration patterns of carp were analyzed by analyzing the signal frequency and fine loci of the labeled fish. The results showed that carp had moderate habitat loyalty to the study area, which was related to carp's long-distance migration habits. In terms of habitat utilization, carp tend to be distributed in coastal shallow water area, and show a certain circadian rhythm. They migrate to coastal shallow water area at night and offshore deep water area at day. In addition, the habitat utilization and vertical distribution of carp are affected by water temperature, runoff and water level.
