Recently, the "a bubble release flux quantification method based on acoustic signal" applied by Wu Zhi, assistant researcher of fishery resources ecology research office of Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences and other researchers has been authorized by the national invention patent with the authorized patent number of zl202010571291.5.
Inland water is a key component of the global carbon cycle and an important source of methane (CH4) in the atmosphere. CH4 release process is highly spatiotemporal heterogeneous and intermittent, and the release process is affected by many factors, which makes it more difficult to evaluate its release flux. Based on the above problems, the invention provides a quantitative evaluation method of bubble release flux, which can continuously monitor bubble emission information on large water surface, has high efficiency, wide coverage area, and can conduct non-interference evaluation on the spatial heterogeneity of bubbles. The method can provide a new technical means for quantitative investigation of greenhouse gas release on large water surface.
